What is it?
BIS is a pocket sized, all-in-one wireless solution that enables you to send and receive web-based emails and access the internet on the move. Using a single device for voice and data, BIS allows you to stay in touch with your customers and colleagues wherever you are.
Features of the BlackBerry® Internet Solution:
Link up to 10 internet-based email addresses direct with your BlackBerry® device.
Suitable for:
- Internet Service Provider (ISP) accounts such as Yahoo Mail, GMail, BT Broadband and many more.
- Email accounts that allow email forwarding
- Company Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino email accounts that are accessed via a web browser
- Control your email – each of your email accounts has its own inbox on the device, making it easier to manage messages. Plus you can still view all of your messages in one mailbox by clicking on the Message Inbox icon.
- You can automatically respond to emails with your own recognisable email address so your messages are sent with the same identification as from your PC.
- Your messages are ‘pushed’ to you so there’s no need to keep checking for new emails.
